Friends of the Carp Hills

Some time ago, a member of the Friends of the Carp Hills approached Brenda Beattie, knowing that she painted outdoors with a group of West Carleton artists each summer, to see if she would be interested in bringing artists onto their trails to help get more public awareness of the area they were trying to protect. Art and conservation go very well together. Brenda and many artists have painted in the Crazy Horse Trail, the Carp Barrens Trail, and the Hidden Lake Trail. These paintings are a result of these trips.

The Friends of the Carp Hills is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to preserving the Carp Hills for the benefit of nature and community in perpetuity. Without careful stewardship, the special ecology of the Carp Hills could be lost for future generations due to overuse and indiscriminate use.
A percentage of sales of the paintings will be donated to the Friends of the Carp Hills organization.

The Exhibiting Artists include:
Brenda Beattie, Catherine Gutsche, Erika Farkas, Isabelle Jerome, Iya Carson, Janice Johnston, Kathleen Watson, Kie Delgaty, Kimberly Hamilton, Posy Bennett, Susan Reiter

To purchase a painting please contact Brenda Beattie at 613-299-8113. She will coordinate the sale with the artist.
